Bio:
Lynn Spencer is the dedicated Project Director for Employer Services for the Gulf Coast Workforce in Houston, Texas. With a passion for workforce development, economic development and community engagement, Lynn plays a pivotal role in connecting local employers with skilled workers, ensuring that the workforce aligns with industry needs and contributing to the economic vitality of the region.
 
Before taking on this impactful role, Lynn accumulated extensive experience as an Executive Director in various economic development initiatives. She served in leadership positions in San Patricio County, Texas, where she spearheaded projects aimed at enhancing the local economy and attracting new oil and gas businesses. Her tenure in Forney, Texas, further solidified her expertise in fostering community partnerships and driving strategic initiatives that benefited both residents and businesses. She has launched numerous programs in partnership with Chambers of Commerce aimed at starting, supporting, and growing businesses.
 
Lynn's leadership also extended to Falcon Field Airport in Mesa, Arizona, where she successfully managed economic development efforts and collaborated with local stakeholders to promote both the airport's growth and the surrounding community’s economic development. Her ability to bridge the gap between public and private sectors has been instrumental in creating sustainable job opportunities and strengthening the workforce ecosystem in each region she has served.
 
With a strong commitment to professional development and community service, Lynn is not only focused on the immediate needs of employers but also on building long-term relationships that empower individuals and enhance the overall quality of life in the Gulf Coast area.
